Guess who was singing and dancing to Love Shack in her husband's truck last night? If you guessed hotpants™, you guessed right. (We were in the parking lot of Bass Pro Shops.) The Hero interrupted me to say someone was pointing and laughing at me. I turned around to see my coworker, Heather, and her husband. She had been honking her horn and waving her arms to get my attention. I was oblivious. When Love Shack's on, I apparently tune out the rest of the world. I'm glad she didn't have a video camera because I must have looked like a fool.

Rollin' with the homies...

I was sad to hear the news of Brittany Murphy's passing. She always seemed so vibrant, happy and full of life. I'll always remember her as Tai from Clueless. She was a phenomenal actress who left this world too soon. 2009 has seen a lot of celebrity deaths. I hope 2010 is different.

Courtney Love lost legal control of her daughter, Frances Bean, due to a long period of unstable conduct. A court also granted Frances a restraining order against her mother. Courtney then took to Twitter to trash her daughter. I'm not going to lie. I've always been rooting for this kid. I hope she does great things with her life.


After weeks of speculation, it has been confirmed that Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal are no longer a couple. Reese is said to have dumped Jake over the phone. Am I the only one who thought they were doomed from the start? Whatever you do, Jake, don't go back to Kirsten Dunst.


The divorce of Jon and Kate Gosselin was finalized today. I hope to never talk about these two again.


A-Rod and Kate Hudson broke up. This is yet another relationship doomed from the start. Alex reportedly broke up with Kate because she 'brought the crazy'. She wanted to be the center of attention at Yankee games and pressured him to marry her.


Sarah Jessica Parker talked with David Letterman about the removal of her famous mole. She had it removed by her brother-in-law because she didn't care for it. She regretted it for a hot minute when a fan told her she'd gotten rid of her signature. SJP's signature was never her mole. It has and always will be her sense of style. Duh!


Elin Woods will be filing for divorce from Tiger Woods in the near future. She's shopping for a lawyer, spending Christmas with the kids in Sweden and flushed her multi-million dollar wedding ring down the toilet. I'd say she's done.


Lindsay Lohan recently visited India for a documentary she's filming on human trafficking. Lindsay proudly tweeted about saving 40 children while there. Sadly, this isn't true. The children were saved in a raid hours before Lindsay's plane landed.


Kourtney, the Kardashian no one cares about, gave birth to a baby boy earlier this week. She named him Mason Dash. If you're on the slow side, Dash is short for... KARDASHIAN!


Since it's almost Christmas, I thought I'd throw in something nice. Alec Baldwin donated a million big ones to NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. The money will fund scholarships for students in need. Alec wanted to give back to the school that made it possible for him to become a successful actor.


Justin Timberlake is also a giver. He raised over nine million dollars for the Shriners Hospital for Children in 2009 alone. This earns Justin the top spot on this year's list of celebrity charity earners.
