Love it. I have a small collecton of umbrellas - vintage and other unique ones. Kind of funny when you consider that Colorado hardly ever rains. I just think they're pretty!
It is good, for me, to get away from food bloggers, once in a while, and see the world as Bloggerville. It is interesting and I have enjoyed your various topics.
I've never had good luck with umbrellas, and I've got this strange fear that the my fingers are going to get pinched when it either opens or closes. I had this totally cute little mini umbrella (the mini part was the handle, not the actual top part) in college, and I was using it on my way to class one day in a crazy rainstorm and the thing got completely busted up - wind blew it all to heck just like you see in the movies. Damaged beyond repair. But, the memory of that makes me laugh. Had to be comical for people who were driving by when it happened. Anyway, love these pictures you found. They are so serene and peaceful, and they make me wish I were in a meadow. By myself. Sleeping. :)

I love them too! And I also love to refer to them as "umbrella-ella-ellas" thanks to Rihanna :)
We never use em here in Oregon, but it's nice to have a really fancy schmancy cute one just to carry!! :)
I love them till they are all wet and drippy and I have no place to put them. Then they suck.
I love them, especially today here in my part of NC where it is pouring!
i don't. i think they are so cumbersome!! very snazzy photos, though!

Oh, these pictures are great! There's something about umbrellas that's so whimsical, especially in these pictures!
Ummm... I LOVE that huge gray one & I'm a sucker for yellow- especially on a rainy day.
there's just something about umbrellas and rain boots that make my heart go pitter patter! :)
They come in handy when it's raining.

in reference to comment #2 - umbrellas are not used in Oregon??? I'm incredulous :D
I love pictures of people with umbrellas.
love those pictures!
Those are great! I never have an umbrella when I need one. Yet, if I put one in my car it won't rain for a month.
