Gloria Allred and Tiger Woods' kindergarten teacher, Maureen Decker, held a press conference asking for an apology from the golf pro. Woods stated in Charles Barkley's 2005 book that Ms. Decker "didn't do much of anything" when a group of 6th graders tied him to a tree, spray-painted the word n***er on him and threw rocks at him on his first day of kindergarten. Ms. Decker says no such incident ever occurred. If this didn't happen, why didn't she come out five years ago when the book was released? I smell an attention whore.
Nicollette Sheridan is suing Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry for $20 million. In the lawsuit, Sheridan claims Cherry physically assaulted her after she questioned him about something in the script. According to the lawsuit, "Cherry took her aside and forcefully hit her with his hand across her face and head." Sheridan says she immediately reported the incident to ABC, but they failed to take action. She also states she was killed off the show unfairly. If this is true, Mr. Cherry needs to have a few housewives get desperate on his ass.
Designing Women star Dixie Carter died on Saturday at the age of 70. Her publicist declined to disclose the cause of death. She leaves behind her actor husband, Hal Holbrook, and two daughters.
