I'd like to thank the inventor
of the DVR.

Since my computer is still out of service, I thought I'd fill you in on what tv shows will be filling up my DVR this fall. You might want to grab a drink and/or snack. This could take a while.

Chelsea Lately

I religiously watch Ellen and Chelsea Lately. I'm only recording Oprah because it's her last season. I may or may not watch depending upon the topic. Some days I'm simply not in the mood to cry.

As for the late shows, I usually only watch if a favorite celebrity is on. If you were wondering, I'm on Team Letterman.

The Event
Hawaii Five-O

90210 sucked for a bit, but is really really good now.

I've watched the series premieres of The Event and Hawaii Five-O already. Both look promising. The Event has some crazy stuff going on while Hawaii Five-O has hot cops with their shirts off.

No Ordinary Family

Parenthood was great last season and is already proving to be great again.

No Ordinary Family premieres next week. I'm tuning in to support Julie Benz (Rita) from Dexter. I hope it's good.

Cougar Town
Modern Family

Hellcats is a show about cheerleaders who live here in Memphis. It's cheesy and full of crap, but I love it.

Modern Family and Cougar Town are the funniest sitcoms on tv.

The Vampire Diaries
$#*! My Dad Says
Grey's Anatomy
Private Practice
Project Runway
The Mentalist

TVD is full of vampires, teenage lust and now... hot werewolves. It's 'must-see tv', people.

I adore William Shatner. Call it a grandpa crush if you will. Plus, his new show looks really funny.

Grey's and PP have a lot to live up to after great seasons last year.

Project Runway is... well, fabulous. This season's great because Gretchen doesn't know what a huge bitch she is.

The Mentalist is starting its 3rd season. It's my fave crime show. It's clever and highly entertaining.

Blue Bloods

Outlaw is a new show with Jimmy Smits. I've only seen one episode. I did not love it, but will give it another chance.

Blue Bloods is a cop show with Tom Selleck and Donnie Wahlberg. It starts tomorrow.

I've seen every episode of Smallville. This is the show's final season. Even though it mostly sucks now, I will see it through until the end.

On Saturdays, I usually watch college football, 48 Hours and catch up on the week's shows.

Desperate Housewives
Brothers & Sisters

I start Sunday nights off with crazy women and an even crazier family and end the night with my favorite serial killer.

So, what shows are you watching this season?

What new shows are you excited for?

What shows did you miss?

This entry was brought to you by my Motorola Droid.

I too watch Project Runway, TVD, and Parenthood is a HUGE favorite of mine as well, but GLEE is back on and it is definitely on the top of my list.

But one I can't pass up is Tyra Bank's America's Next Top Model. There's just something about it,... My husband and I call it the hungry skinny bitches show :)

On Monday I'm going to be doing a run-down of all the premiere-week shows I watched and what I thought. We definitely share some favorites.

dear lord, once we had to replace the dvr and lost SO much! i wish there was a way to back up.
Modern Family and Blue Bloods are shows I will NOT miss. And Grey's. I may have to pass on PP this year...started watching Detroit 1-8-7 [i'm from MI, sad for that city]. I still drool over Gossip Girl. And Weeds & The Big C. Jeez. I also love CSI: NY. I could go on and on and ON. Sad.

I love Modern Family and Cougartown too. {Pennycan!}

Thursdays are so full of good tv that I'm recording 2 shows at a time on the dvr and watching a 3rd in another room.

But, I'd be happy to see Gretchen GO.

Modern Family, The Middle, and Cougar Town are my top three, with How I Met Your Mother running in close behind.

I've been checking out a few new sitcoms, like Running Wilde, and Better With You. Running Wilde has some promise, Better With You hopefully gets better. I <3 TV! I love that we watch a lot of the same shows. Brothers & Sisters omg what is going to happen to Kitty with Robert gone??? I'm dying to know. TVD=super hot werewolves. YUM.

Watching Glee, Dexter, Modern Family, Cougar Town, The Office, 30 Rock, Hawaii 5-0, How I Met Your Mother...and I kind of watch The Biggest Loser (meaning most of it gets fast forwarded but I get the gist).

I watch Dancing with the Stars, America's Next Top Model, Modern Family (hilarious!!), Survivor, and I'm excited about Dexter starting. I'm actually still on Season 3, but hoping to finish this week. I already saw Season 4.

I missed the last few episodes of Parenthood last season, but I'm hoping to catch up and I'm DVRing the new season.

Still trying to figure out my TV schedule with all the new Fall shows and some of my old favorites being gone.

You need to check out "Raising Hope" on Hulu (when your computer is fixed) from Tuesday after Glee. That shit was super funny.

Nothing makes me laugh consistently, several times, every week like Modern Family.
I just watched the entire last season of Dexter over 2 days and LOVED IT - I am now officially obsessed and cannot wait for Sunday!

Holy cow-wow! You DO watch a lot of TV! But there are sooo many good shows right now it's hard not to!
I'm pretty crazy about Modern Family, Cougar town(my fave), Entourage (over for the season, sads!), Hell cats, Hung, Californication (husband likes it more than me).
I'm liking Hawaii 5-0 (so far!?) and we shall see about The Event (better not be some lame-ass copy of my beloved LOST...) of course Ellen and GLEEEEEE!

I'm really sad, I only watch one actual show when it's on TV. The Vampire Diaries.

I watch Young and The Restless either on my phone after the kids go to bed or on my computer.

I watch Castle and Ghost Hunters on my phone.

This is cuz with 4 kids and my husband, I never get any of the TVs.

Not Everyones Mama said...

oh oh oh -I get a season pass to the Real Housewives of NJ on iTunes and watch that on my iPod.

Modern Family! The Middle! Big Bang Theory! Supernatural! *fall TV spaz*

I am ashamed by how much I am enjoying "Hellcats." Or at least I feel like I should be that ashamed.

Might TiVo "Blue Bloods" tonight. My love for Tom Selleck proves that I am my mother's daughter, after all. (She wasn't lying about the not-adopting-me-thing.)

Let the Heavens sing over the creator of the DVR/Tivo! Genius! I couldn't survive without one!
Did you NOT record Raising Hope? I have no idea why I did (probably because it has Martha Plimpton in it and I love me some Goonies!) but it was GENIUS!! NOT kidding! Almost choked on my own spit about a half a dozen times because I was laughing so hard! Once that dumb computer of yours gets better, watch it and let me know what you think! Definitely my sleeper show!

I am so excited for Dexter's new season!!

Too funny because I am also DVRing Oprah because it is her last season and who are we kidding... the lady is friggin' amazing. I religiously watch Project Runway on Thursdays. My hubbie and I also watch "The League" "First 48" and "Tosh.0".

I am addicted to the DVR. Mike once said to save money we could get rid of it and it was like he said we could kill our first born or something. I lost it! No way... I need my DVR!

Tuesdays - GLEE! And I decided to give the new Keri Russell show a shot!

Thursdays - NBC Line up (Office, 30 Rock, Parks n' Rec & Community) - this comes in so handy to have it DVRed because prime time here is 7:00 pm (is it like that where you are? By the time I'm done dinner we can watch it all without commercials! SCORE!

DAILY: Rachel Ray Show and honestly I have no clue when Gene Simmons Family Jewels comes on but it catches that for me too!

Mike also DVRs Smallville - I'm hooked on it now so I'm glad he's got that covered. Our DVR is also clogged with his WWE, TNA and whatever else 'wrasslin' he's recording!

P.S. Chelsea puts me to bed @ night.
