Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1

You all know how much I love Twilight. Did you know that I love Harry Potter too? Well, I do. I've been anxiously awaiting the release of the last two movies. I didn't jump on the Potter bandwagon until the last book came out. I tore through all of them in a matter of weeks. I was upset that I hadn't read them sooner. I can say with certainty that I'll reread them ever so often until I die. Ever so often? Is that proper English? Anyway, I saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 this weekend with a girlfriend. I'll be seeing it again in a week or two with The Hero. It's everything I expected it to be and more. I have yet to be disappointed with a Potter film. They've really done the books justice with the actors, the story and the special effects. I'll be sad when the final film comes out in July 2011, but I'll always have my books and eventually all of the movies on DVD.

So, do you love Harry Potter?

If not, what the hell is wrong with you?

I was disappointed with the 3rd and 5th movies, but I've loved all the others.

I think this is the best so far, though after what I saw on Friday night, I have a feeling Part 2 is going to be even more amazing.

I found the books during the "three year summer" break between the 4th and 5th books, before the first movie came out. I fell in love with them and I'm so glad I got to enjoy them with the long breaks in between releases. I felt like I was really part of something special as I gathered with friends to theorize and ponder and guess (almost always incorrectly) what was going to happen next.

Love love love - Harry Potter. I actually introduced my neices to the books!
I don't know how I will manage the wait until July for Part II

I LOVE the movies and own them all as well as all the books, but have yet to read them! What is wrong with me? I'm trying desperately to get a babysitter so my husband and I can see it together. But Thanksgiving week compiled with our first snow of the season is making that very difficult! He told me I'm not allowed to go with a friend. Hahaha. Everyone is saying the kissing scene is awkward and uncomfortable. Did you feel that way?

I do not like HP because I cannot pronounce all the big words. I am lame. That is all.

My sister has read them all and gave me the set, which I haven't had a chance to get to, yet. I suppose I'm going to have to, sooner or later, and do appreciate the review... We're going to see the new movie this weekend and really looking forward to it. Come visit when you can... Happy Thanksgiving!

Looooove me some Harry! I think that this movie was my favorite so far! I was into it the entire time, and I think they ended it at the perfect place. I am going to be so sad when the last movie comes out, though.

Love Harry Potter! And was ready for there to be a slight intermission and then another 3 hours of movie instead of having to wait until July.

Love Harry Potter. Can not wait to see it & I have really loved all the movies- I mean, they've all been different but every single one has been good.

I like Harry Potter. I used to read the books to my 5th graders. They LOVED them! I think the movies are great too. Of course, it doesn't come near my love for Twilight or the Hunger Games.

I am anxious to see this next movie. Hoping to see it sometime this weekend while off work for Thanksgiving. It's kind of weird, because for the last two years I've been going to see Twilight or New Moon over the Thanksgiving holiday. I miss it not being in the theaters right now. I can't wait for December 4th!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE Harry Potter. This was the best HP movie so far! I cried, laughed and cursed (because it ended!) and am ready for part 2!

I started reading HP in college and LOVE them all. I only know 1 person who doesn't like HP, but she doesn't like Twilight either so she doesn't count. ;) I'm seeing Deathly Hallows Part 1 on Saturday with my sis, so excited! True story - when I was reading #7 and got to the end, my husband called and I told him 'What do you want? I'm reading HP.'

Total Potter head. Read and reread the books before each movie came out. I wasn't able to see Deathly Hallows this weekend, hoping for next!

Yeah, I'm not a Harry Potter fan, and I'm not really sure why. But I will tell you that neither one of us has the time for me to get into what the hell's wrong with me.

I loved HP7. I am a huge Harry Potter fan and I love that you are too! I am waiting to buy the movies until I can get a boxed set. Oh, and I really want to go to Harry Potter land, but only if it wasn't crowded. How badly do you want butter beer??

This we can agree on - I do like HP. Now that being said I've only read one book and only seen the first 2 movies but I enjoy them, a lot.
