iLove Tuesday Tunes; Like a G6

Far East Movement's Like a G6 makes me want to shake my booty up in da club. It reminds me of my younger days... when I used to go out in my faux leather pants showing off my midriff just because I could. It reminds me of my younger days... when I'd put Peppermint Schnapps in my Route 44 Cherry Limeade before heading to the club. It reminds me of my younger days... riding around with my girlfriends with the windows down screaming lyrics at the top of our lungs.

Poppin bottles in the ice, like a blizzard
When we drink we do it right, gettin slizzard
Sippin sizzurp in my ride like Three 6
Now I’m feelin so fly like a G6
Like a G6, Like a G6
Now I’m feelin so fly like a G6

I've never been a drinker so I wouldn't know, but peppermint schnapps mixed with cherry limeade doesn't sound the least bit appealing.

But I totally get what you mean. Some songs just take me back to those wild and carefree years!

SHUT THE FRONT DOOR. We used to slip shnapps into our Rt 44 Sonic cups too! LOL. Funny.

I love that song too. It's on of my favorites on my iPod right now. It's on "My Jams" playlist...only the best songs make it there! :P

This is totally what I call a 'Tijuana' song. Which is basically a 'club song.'

Ahh, the joys and memories of growing up in San Diego. I should be dead.

I just found out recently that they weren't talking about 'cheese sticks'. Apparently, I need to get with the program. G6 totally makes more sense.

Exactly what is a G6. I'm confused. And how high IS a G6? I need to know.

The funny thing is, a G6 is a pontiac if you are talking about a car. But I am sure that in the song they are talking about the Gulfstream Jet. I do love this song though. Even my little Peanut likes to sing along. It is hilarious to hear her sing..."poppin bottles in the ice like a blizzard..."

And we always dance in the car too when it is on. I miss my club days...

THANK YOU!!! This song reminds me of the same damn thing completely!!! And for the record what were we thinking with the pleather pants??? SO hot looking but SO difficult to get up and down in the bathroom after the ladies night drinks kicked in (especially after dancing your ass off)... I wore mine 1 time... during spring break... at an outdoor bar... IN FT. LAUDERDALE FLORIDA!!! WTF? Thank you for the memories chica - it always reminds me of nights spent out in Georgetown with my friends dancing the night away!!! Let's hit up taco bell on the way home, shall we?

Confession: I've never heard this song. However I did just buy a G6(the car, not the airplane).
