My Favorite Christmas Movies

This is a repost from last year because I'm lazy, lazy and busy.

Elf
"You smell like beef and cheese. You don't smell like Santa."
"The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear."

The Family Stone
"You have a freak flag. You just don't fly it."
"She has got this throat-clearing tick... it's like she's digging for clams!"

Home Alone

"You guys give up yet? Or are you thirsty for more?"
"Bless this highly nutritious microwavable macaroni and cheese dinner
and the people who sold it on sale. Amen."

What are your favorite Christmas movies?

Mine is "Olive, The Other Reindeer"... Story of a dog named Olive who hears a report on the radio that one of Santa's reindeer is injured but he will try to make it with "all of the other reindeer". Includes characters named "Richard Stans" and "Round John Virgin"... It's comic GOLD... Gold Jerry... GOLD!

My all time fave is Elf. "Does somebody need a hug." I also admire his love of candy.

Four Christmases is fantastic too. "I'm gonna do it too." lol

I love all the ones you mentioned. Plus, we're huge fans of Christmas Vacation! We also watch all of the classics like White Christmas, Miracle on 34th Street, How The Grinch Stole Christmas, Rudolph, It's A Wonderful Life. I really love them all! Christmas is my favorite time of the year. I think we've watch some sort of Christmas movie or cartoon since the day after Thanksgiving! Last night, we watched The Santa Clause.

It's the most wonderful time of the year! :)

Love these! I might have to REPOST mine from last year but I have to add to it... I forgot how much I adore Scrooged - I watched it last night and it's hands down my favorite. I Love me some Bill Murray.

Adding to your list because I love them all: Christmas Vacation, Die Hard, CHRISTMAS STORY (can't have Christmas without it in my home) and probably Mean Girls. I know that Christmas is only a small part but still it makes me smile.

OMG! The Family Stone! I have that on DVD but haven't watched it in years. I might have to break it out tonight. Home Alone is one of my all time favorite movies ever, not just at Christmas Time. I also really love White Christmas and It's A Wonderful Life!

Elf is my absolute favorite! And The Family Stone - there's nothing like SJP flying her freak flag at the bar!
