The Fresh Prince said it best.

summer summer summertime

time to sit back and unwind

here it is, the groove slightly transformed

just a bit of a break from the norm

just a little somethin' to break the monotony

of all that hardcore dance that has gotten to be

a little bit out of control, it's cool to dance

but what about the groove that soothes that moves romance

give me a soft subtle mix

and if ain't broke then don't try to fix it

and think of the summers of the past

adjust the base and let the alpine blast

pop in my CD and let me run a rhyme

and put your car on cruise and lay back

cause this is summertime

summer summer summertime

time to sit back and unwind

iLove Tuesday Tunes; Everlong

I don't consider myself to be a Foo Fighters fan, but I love this song so much it hurts.

And I wonder
When I sing along with you
If everything could ever feel this real forever
If anything could ever be this good again

The only thing I'll ever ask of you
You've got to promise not to stop when I say when

The Talk of Tinseltown; Brits & Babies

Orlando Bloom and Victoria's Secret model, Miranda Kerr, wed in a "secret" ceremony on Wednesday. The couple who've been dating for three years announced their engagement in June. I don't know why the tabloids label all weddings that aren't announced to the press as being secret. If there were guests at the ceremony, it wasn't a secret.

Amanda Bynes, who announced her retirement from acting a month ago via Twitter, wants everyone to know she's now unretired. She apparently came out of retirement to plug her new movie, Easy A. I don't even know why I'm sharing this because nobody cares. It was either this or tell you about Lindsay Lohan being isolated from the other prisoners because they started chanting firecrotch.

Does anyone else think Lindsay could look just like this girl if she got herself rehabilitated?

Rumors have been circulating that Britney Spears has been counseling Mel Gibson in recent weeks. Yes, he was there for her during her troubled times, but her reps say she hasn't spoken with Mel in two years. For the survival of mankind, I hope these two aren't besties.

Investigators working the cases of Brittany Murphy and Simon Monjack think mold in their home could have been a contributing factor in their deaths. When Brittany passed, the mold issue came up, but was later dismissed. Suspicions arose again this week when Simon's autopsy came back with the same causes of death as Brittany's -- pneumonia and anemia. Brittany's mom originally refused to allow the L.A. County Coroner's Office to look into the mold issue, but has now agreed. This could explain why husband and wife both had respiratory health problems. Pneumonia is a dangerous side effect of mold exposure. To think one or both of them could be alive if it weren't for some nasty mold... so sad.

Heroes actress Ali Larter is expecting her first child with her writer/actor husband, Hayes MacArthur. The couple has been married since last August.

The newly engaged Christina Applegate has a baby on the way with bass player Martyn Lenoble. Applegate, 38, and Lenoble, 41, got engaged on Valentine's Day of this year after dating for two years. I love her!

Bruce Willis has revealed that a Die Hard 5 is imminent. I could act like I don't care, but I'll totally see it when it comes out. I'm such a boy.

I'm secretly a tween.

Do you ever get sucked into one of your kid's shows? I'll admit it. I can't stop watching iCarly. Little Bit loves it. I don't know why, seeing as how she's not even two, but she does. She squeals every single time the theme song comes on. She expects me to sing it every time too. I don't know all of the words yet, but I'm getting close. If it comes on, I get sucked in every time. It's pretty embarrassing, but I have no shame.

So, do you secretly love a show made for kids?

The Talk of Tinseltown; Long Overdue

Roman Polanski will not be extradited to the U.S by the Swiss government. He'll continue to live a life of luxury in Europe even though he drugged and raped a minor back in the 70s. Way to stay neutral, Switzerland!

Robert Pattinson may be putting out an album soon. The Eclipse hunk recently told Paris Match he is thinking about recording an album with his musician sister, Lizzy Pattinson. "I’m seriously thinking of doing music with my sister. It’s a project that should be done before the end of the year."

Vince Vaughn and his wife, Kyla Weber, are expecting a baby. Does anyone else think Vince looks pregnant?

Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston got engaged and announced it on the cover of Us Weekly before telling her mother. Says Bristol, “It is intimidating and scary just to think about what her reaction is going to be. Hopefully she will jump on board.”

Seriously, you didn't tell your mom? I'd love to be there for that mother-daughter conversation.

John Stamos testified in court against a couple who tried to extort $680,000 from him by claiming they had pictures of him in compromising positions with strippers. John met a girl who claimed to be 18 during Spring Break in 2004 shortly after his marriage to Rebecca Romjin fell apart. The girl claimed Stamos had gotten her pregnant. Apparently, she had a fake ID so Stamos thought she was older. The couple was found guilty of extortion late last week. John says he didn't sleep with the girl and denies any wrongdoing.

Mel Gibson is a rascist douche. That is all.
