My Beauty Favorites

L to R:

Loreal RevitaLift Radiant Smoothing Cream Cleanser
I picked this cleanser up at Walgreens for two reasons.
1. It was on clearance.
2. My skin has been extremly dry lately.
Why I Like It - My skin feels super soft. It’s fragrance free.

Loreal Sublime Bronze One Day Tinted Gel
This self-tanner is intended for daily use.
You put it on. You go out. You shower. It washes off.
It’s as simple as that.
Why I Like It – It goes on easy. It comes off easy.
It gives me a touch of color in a hurry.

Benefit Play Stick
After reading several positive reviews, I knew I had to give this foundation a try. After one use, I was extremely pleased. I like my foundation to cover a lot without looking thick or heavy.
This play stick does the trick.
Why I Like It - It goes on easy, feels light on my skin and lasts all day.
Sidenote – I’m anxious to see how long the stick actually lasts.

Benefit Erase Paste
I’m always on the hunt for a great under eye concealer. I read hundreds of reviews before settling on this one. After one use, I was sold. A little goes a long way. It goes on light, doesn’t crease under the eye and covers my dark circles.
Why I Like It – It goes on light, brightens and covers my dark circles.

Benefit Some Kind of Gorgeous
I didn’t need this product when I bought it. I picked it up because of the great reviews. Even though this foundation comes in a compact, it goes on smooth like a cream. I tend to use this when I’m running out for a bit and don’t feel like putting my ‘full face’ on. It can be worn alone or with the play stick.
Why I Like It – It’s foundation on-the-go.

Why I’m Completely & Totally Sold on Benefit Products: They’re affordable. Each of these products gives me full coverage without feeling or looking heavy. The coverage lasts all day. My face doesn’t get oily or shiny… at all. I’m officially a Benefit girl. I can’t wait to try some of their other products.

Sinful Colors nail polish {Boogie Nights}
They carry this line at Walgreens. In case you haven't noticed a theme here, I love Walgreens. The Sinful Colors display is at the cosmetics counter. It sucks me in every time.
Why I Like It - The polish lasts. They have every color under the sun.

In a Hurry Air Dry Top Coat
I picked this up at Sally Beauty Supply because I was tired of smudged nails. I often wait until a few hours before bedtime to paint my nails. I know I should paint them earlier, but it’s easier to wait until the kids are asleep. I’ve only used the top coat twice, but I haven’t had a smudged nail either time.
Why I Like It – It works.

Pond's Evening Soothe Wet Cleansing Towlettes
I’ve never found an eye makeup remover I like. Since I wear contacts, my eyes often get irritated. These wipes are great at removing mascara. They also leave my skin feeling silky smooth.
The clean, fresh smell is an added bonus.
Why I Like Them – They’re convenient, remove my mascara without irritating my eyes and smell good.

Suave Dry Shampoo
My hair gets oily in 24 hours without fail. So, for those mornings when I simply can’t make it out of bed, I use this. You spray it on, rub it in with your fingers and go.
Why I Like It – It has a fresh scent, doesn’t leave a powdery residue and makes the oil disappear.

Burt's Bees Thoroughly Therapeutic Honey & Orange Wax Body Lotion
I know a lot of you swear by Burt’s Bees products so I thought I’d give this lotion a try. My only complaint is that it's thin in consistency. It will be great for spring and summer, but I'll probably want something thicker in the winter. What I love most is the smell. It has a light, clean scent that isn't overpowering.
Why I Like It – It smells yummy.

Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray
I recently purchased this at Walgreens. I included it in the picture then realized I don’t really have an opinion about it yet. I’ll let you know.

It's so funny you did this post...I was thinking of doing something similar just last week, but never did it. I haven't tried any Benefit products, but you and Terri both speak highly of the Erase Paste, so I might have to try it. Anything to cover the dark circles!!

So the dry shampoo really works? I have really oily hair, but there are some mornings where I would love to be able to just put it in a ponytail and go. My bangs get too greasy.

Is your hair fine or thick? I have such baby fine hair I am afraid of all those dry shampoos, but maybe?

So is the playstick powder?? I'm looking for a new concealer/foundation that I don't have to touch. I hate actually smearing it. Does that make sense?
Also, you were saying on Twitter once that your skin is so dry it's oily...I think MY skin is like that!!! It makes sense. Cuz it gets so freakin dry but then oily.
What's the best single product to get rid of that?? Tell me make up guru!

I absolutely LOVE Benefit! I've been using their stuff for a few years now. Stay Don't Stray is the first under eye concealer that works on my white circles. Yes, white. And I LOVE their plum mascara. I also get my eyebrows done at their Brow Bar.

I am beauty product junkie. I have tried tons of different products and lines and could spend my whole paycheck on Sephora and QVC beauty products.

I'm still so jealous of the Suave Dry Shampoo. I really can't find it ANYWHERE.

Thanks so much for this. I seriously need to try some of these products!

I might need to try that suave dry shampoo! My hair used to get really greasy if I didn't wash it every day. But ever since I haven't worked, I've tried washing it every other day and at first it was gross but somehow my hair adjusted and it doesn't get as greasy in such a short amount of time. It's nice not having to wash it every day and it is better for my hair anyway. Wow, long comment! Sorry!

I bought the bronzer, but have yet to open it.

I use the Play Stick as a concealer. After my erase paste {which I love!}, before my bare minerals.

And I can't LIVE without my dry shampoo!!

I bought the Suave Dry Shampoo over the weekend. I've never used dry shampoo before, but some of my friends are loving it. I wanted to try a cheap one before forking out the cash for a better brand. I still haven't tried it. I don't know if I'll be able to go without a real shampoo. I'm going to try out some Benefit goodies on my next trip to Sephora.
