Breaking Dawn Part 1; A Review & Pictures!

I'm going to be honest with you. I put off this post for a bit because it pains me to say... I didn't love this movie. {Ok, I might be a little bit lazy too.} There were many scenes I loved. There were also I few I absolutely hated. I'm sorry, but the scene where the wolves talk to each other in their human voices is one of the dumbest ever. The wedding, honeymoon and Bella's transformation during childbirth were beautifully done. If they can put so much time and effort into those scenes, why not work just as hard on the rest? I'm not going to bash the movie because I'm obviously a Twi-Hard for life, but I did feel a huge pang of disappointment when it was over. I'm hoping the final film wraps the series up nicely.

Now, on to the fun stuff...

That wolf scene was F*CKING hilarious. I mean seriously laughable.
I also laughed when Bells went into labor, but that's because I don't like her and I liked seeing her back break...I'm sick like that.
Now, Jacob looked extra hot in the movie...his first appearance at the wedding...white shirt...dark skin...stubble....mmmmm....

Glad you guys like the shirts! You guys look great! And I agree with your assessment of the movie. I didn't love the book though and I think that tainted my feelings on the movie. Also, agree on the yuck wolf scene. So lame!

love the shirts!

I was never a fan of the wolves, I would have been fine if they had been left out completely ;)

I really did love that they played the prom song during the wedding.

Oh my goodness, the wolf scene drove me crazy! It was just really really stupid.

I've liked the other movies, but I didn't like this one at all. I took my cousins to see it, and because one of their phone's autocorrect changed Breaking Dawn to Breaking Wind, we decided to call it that. After seeing the movie, it seems to fit...

Couldn't agree with you more about the wolf scene. It was so cheesy and just plain pathetic! With Bella's transformation being so amazing, why did the wolf scene feel so...low budget? It was very frustrating. I think they should have just used regular wolves and captioned it or something...anything would have been better than those cheesy CGI wolves. Bleck.

I also felt the scenes leading up to the wedding went really slowly, but that's kind of how I felt about the first half of the Breaking Dawn. Hopefully the next movie will wow me. I love love loved the Jacob imprinting scene. I thought they nailed it, and I can't wait to see more of Renesme.

I love your clothes. You all look so great and cozy! That wolf part was so weird. Not only were they using their human voices, but it sounded like they borrowed the Scream guy’s voice changer thing. I felt like I stepped into a kid’s movie at that point. Here are my problems. Why didn’t Edward sparkle on the honeymoon? Was it always overcast? Hahaha. I thought Bella looked disgusting, in a good way, when she was pregnant. Jacob needed to be shirtless more.

oh, man...i've heard mixed reviews. i loved the books, so i'm a bit worried that the movie will disappoint (i haven't seen it yet!). so far, twilight was the best movie for me.

I'm glad you had fun, despite the bits of disappointment.

I think the last movie will be better. At least, I hope so.
