It Happened at the World's Fair

I can remember how much I loved going to the fair as a kid. Now that I'm a parent, I get a completely different kind of enjoyment out of it. There's nothing quite like the amazement in your child's eyes as they see and experience certain things for the first time. It's days like these when I'm reminded just how awesome it is to be a mom.

*That's my mom in the carousel pic. We basically wore the same outfit to the fair.

Yay for Elvis in Seattle! :) I loved the fair as a kid and teenager, but I get a little creeped out these days by it. I still go every year for a concert and the food. Ew/Yum. It looks like you guys had a blast! I love that you and your mom matched. Haha.

We didn't make it to our fair this year! Love your jug of sweet tea, that is not one of our fair staples over here. :-)
