Baby, it's cold outside

It's cold and icy in my little town today. Schools were set to close three hours after starting, so I kept the boy out and stayed home. What's the point in driving around and burning gas when I can work from bed? I've got my electric blanket, a cup of coffee and my laptop. Oh, and a pantry stocked full of food because I grocery shopped a few days ago. Days like this are a treasure.

I went to see Gangster Squad with my friend Kelly on Saturday night. The movie was good, but not amazing. {Our margaritas were better.} It starts off slow, but gets better once the crime fighting kicks in. The performances are great, but the story was lacking something. Gangster Squad wasn't lacking eye candy though. You've got your Ryan Gosling. You've got your Emma Stone. I know they're both in relationships, but I think they should end those and get together.

Ok, back to work...

I love screw-going-to-school-because-it's-too-damn-cold snuggle days!
Enjoy!
Sucks about the movie, maybe I'll rent it when it's out on DVD. :/

I love these two, especially Ryan of course ;) They were so good together in Crazy Stupid Love, love that film. Can't wait to see the new movie, I think it's out here next week.

Great job on all your Red Carpet coverage yesterday, I really enjoyed it :)

I'm jealous of your cold weather day. We're freezing here but still have to work. Boo.

I had a feeling Gangster Squad was going to be that way. Movies released in January are rarely awesome.

I've been cuddled up with my electric blanket too! People always make fun of me, but they are awesome. I agree about Emma and Ryan!! They are both just so perfect. Don't work too hard!!

I miss snow...err ice days! Staying in and getting stuff done around the house (or for work) with the kids (or my mom) in the other room :) Those were awesome. I don't get many of those here I am sure they are cherished in the south!

Emma and Ryan remind me of Matthew and Kate - when they were in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days together the chemistry was AMAZING. Emma and Ryan seem like great buds, even if they didn't get together for real, they can continue to play lovers for our entertainment ;) [we don't want her to be the next Rachel McAdams, ya know?]
