Blog Every Day in May, #Fail

I fell off the Blog Every Day in May wagon and probably won't finish. We were having internet connectivity issues at home. This was fixed days ago. Now, something is wrong with my laptop. I hope it's a minor issue because a new computer is definitely not in the budget. For now, you get a quick recap of our Memorial Day weekend. I vowed to enjoy every single second. I'm back at work today and won't be off again for quite some time.

We kicked things off with an impromptu date night. We ate at our favorite Mexican restaurant before seeing Fast 6. {I'll review it later.} We spent a lot of time outside riding bikes, eating ice cream and soaking up some rays. We went to the park, had a family cookout and ate yummy frozen yogurt not once but twice. We also visited the Pink Palace Museum where we saw fun exhibits, watched an IMAX film about the Ice Age and visited the planetarium. I even managed to help my mother-in-law with her garage sale. It was one of the best long weekends I've had in a while.

I hope you all had a nice holiday weekend too.

I'll be back as soon as I can.

I am curious about your hubby's work schedule. How often is he home? How is life different for y'all than a couple w traditional 8-5 jobs?

The photos you shared on IG all weekend long looked like you were having a blast! I love forgetting the world and just having fun with my family. And I'm jealous of your weather. It rained here almost the whole weekend!

Yep, I fell off and then the wagon ran over me! My posts have been sporadic at best. We've been busy then the 3 day weekend hit. Oh well, life was being lived! =)

I love the planetarium! I can't wait to do fun things like that with Wyatt someday. :-)
Aw that stinks about the computer. Mine is on it's last legs and I think we have to bite the bullet and get a new one soon.
