Britney Spears has been counting down to something big on her Twitter, Instagram and Facebook the last couple of weeks. We're down to seven days now. Judging from recent pics, a new song and video will be released. I'm guessing an album will soon follow. And hopefully, she'll be announcing some Vegas tour dates soon. Regardless of the how and when, I will be going to see Miss Brit in Vegas. Isn't that right, Christina?
Carrie Underwood recently injured herself after falling onstage in five inch heels. Her heel got caught in a really long top she was wearing. Good news is, nothing's broken.
Scarlett Johansson is engaged to journalist Romain Dauriac. The two have been dating for less than a year. This will be the second marriage for Scarlett. If you'll recall, she used to be married to that hottie Ryan Reynolds.
Khloe Kardashian's basketball hubby is said to be struggling with a horrible drug addiction. Lamar Odom was recently charged with a DUI and reportedly checked out of rehab after only one day. Friends and family are desperate to get him help. Unfortunately, he's being less than receptive to the idea. I hope he gets the help he needs and soon.
According to multiple sources, Gwen Stefani is pregnant with her third child at age 43. So far, the lead singer of No Doubt has yet to confirm the news. If it's true, I hope she has a girl this time. She needs a mini me.
And, last but not least, we have some Fifty Shades of Grey casting news. After months of speculation, we now know who will play Christian and Anastasia. Mr. Grey will be played by Charlie Hunnam. He plays Jax on Sons of Anarchy. Dakota Johnson, daughter of Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith, will play Ms. Steele. Johnson has starred in Ben and Kate and The Five-Year Engagement.
I didn't have either actor on my list. I am digging the idea of Charlie as Christian. He's definitely got the look for it, and he can act. I don't know much about Dakota. The two are said to have great chemistry together. They're both age appropriate for the parts as well. I'm going to reserve judgment until after the movie comes out. Hollywood has definitely surprised me before.
