While I'm Waiting

You would think I'd be blogging more since I'm not working. Even though I have a lot of free time, I haven't been spending much of it online. I'm trying to enjoy these last few days of unemployment. I'm working with an agency and should have something lined up soon. Until then, I'm going to enjoy the quiet while the kids are in school.

I'm finally caught up on Breaking Bad. This past Sunday, I was able to watch the show in real time. There are only two episodes left before the series ends forever. If you're looking for a great tv show to watch with brilliant writing and an amazing cast, this is it. Bryan Cranston deserves to win all the Emmys for his portrayal of Walter White. And I have totally fallen in love with Aaron Paul as Jesse Pinkman. Breaking Bad has definitely become one of my all-time favorite television shows. I can hear my husband now. "I told you so!"

I've also been reading a lot. In recent weeks, I've read seven books. I finished the Watersong series by Amanda Hocking, read J.K. Rowling's new book written under a psuedonym and another by one of my favorite actresses. Reviews on each of these are coming soon. Now, I'm reading Divergent by Veronica Roth. Since the movie comes out early next year, I figured I'd find out what all the fuss is about.

PS:

I'm involved in a giveaway over here.

And I'm in the sponsor spotlight over here.

Also... only 5 days until fall!

We just finished season 1 of Breaking Bad - I don't think we'll be finished with it before the show ends which is sad. I sort of like that last few episodes LIVE, ya know?

So far I like it... I wouldn't say I'm totally hooked but I do want to watch it all so that's saying something.

Sometimes agencies are the best way to go, especially if you don't enjoy the first job they find you, it's easier to have them search for you and sometimes they have a foot in the door you otherwise wouldn't have. My best friend owns a temp agency up north and she got me two of my best jobs I ever had in life, and the one led me to want to be a graphic designer.

Big things are coming your way girl, I just know it!

I fully intended to start Breaking Bad this summer, and now all the fall shows have started and I'll never have time! I'm excited for your new job adventure! That peace and quiet has probably been really nice though.

Breaking Bad is on my Netflix to-watch list. I've still got a load of other series I need to watch or catch up on, like Mad Men, Call the Midwives - shoot I haven't even seen all of Gossip Girl yet, haha.
