The 75th Hunger Games

Tonight, my girls and I will be attending the premiere of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Yes, that's right. We'll be in line with all the crazies. Who am I kidding? We are the crazies. This year, there isn't a midnight showing. We'll actually be seeing the movie at 8:00. Weird! I'm a little disappointed because I enjoy the late show. Regardless of the time, I am so excited to see the movie with my friends. I loved the books and thought the first movie was great. I can't wait to see how this one turns out.

And during today's commute, I'll be listening to the accompanying soundtrack. I downloaded it last night, and I'm already in love with Lorde's cover of Everybody Wants To Rule The World.

When are you seeing Catching Fire?

Wooo! Have fun! I hate the crazies but I'm going to see it probably Sunday, so it'll still be bad. Oh well!

I was supposed to go tomorrow, but one of my friends is out of town, so we're going next week.

8:00? That's weird. But I'm lame and that's the one I'd rather see on a weeknight. Ha! I cannot wait to see this movie, but Jacob says I have to go with him and we can't get a babysitter for a week or so. Boo! I just got the soundtrack yesterday. I really like all of it, but my favorites are Lorde, Ellie, Sia, Christina, Phantogram. Well, the whole thing is good. Haha!

What did you think? I LOVED it! I thought they did a great job of staying pretty true to the book. Also, Finnick was absolutely adorable. Hubba hubba! Where has he been? I don't think I've ever seen him in a movie before. Oh and I sobbed during the Rue eulogy. So good.
